Nuclear Power Plant
This interactive model of a nuclear power plant was commissioned
by
Alissa and Charlie Moran of Farmingville, New York, as a
Christmas gift for their 6 year old son. The model was not built to any
particular scale but is suitable for use with Hot Wheels sized vehicles.
It features removable roofs for access to the removable fuel rods
in the fueling chamber, and removable turbine generators. There
is a reactor chamber and control room with all of the monitors,
dials and guages needed to make the model an interactive toy.
It was a very interesting and unique project, and was a lot of fun to build.
